  • Shayan Family Law, APC, a distinguished and rapidly growing family law firm located in Century City, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced family law attorney to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to our client-focused practice while working in a supportive and collegial environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage an active caseload including, but not limited to, divorce, child custody, support issues, and property division.

    • Draft pleadings, discovery requests, responses, motions, brief, and other relevant documents.

    • Handle hearings, trials, and depositions.

    • Develop effective case strategy and conduct legal research and analysis in support thereof.

    • Maintain effective and professional communication with clients, fostering trust and confidence through compassionate and client-focused service.

    • Draft and negotiate prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

    • Stay apprised in the latest developments in family law, particularly as it applies to Los Angeles-based matters.

    • Ensure compliance with all court and jurisdictional rules and deadlines.

    • This position has an annual billable requirement of 1,250 hours per year.

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum of four (4) years of experience as a practicing family law attorney.

    • In-depth understanding of family law proceedings and ability to manage an active caseload.

    • Proficiency in drafting motions and discovery requests and responses.

    • Trial experience and experience in taking and defending depositions is a plus.

    • Excellent organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and research skills.

    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

    • High degree of professionalism and respect for confidentiality.

    • Must be admitted to practice in California.

    Compensation:

    • Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.

    • Discretionary bonus eligible.

    Work Environment:

    • Office in Century City.

    • This position requires travel to courthouses or other offices in connection with hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions.
